There isn't a whole lot I as a modder can do, however until the base game AI is improved I would recommend boosting the Martians in the pre-game set up if they're going to be played by the AI. Small public service announcement, the Martian AI is rather broken at the moment. You need to go to the mod's discord and get the work in progress update, if you want to use 1.12! Major heads up, the workshop version currently doesn't work with the up to date version of the game.
